Occupational Therapy at The Children's Hospital
Occupational Therapists are the professionals who bring us "skills for the occupation of living" by helping children to acquire and successfully perform daily occupations at home and in the community. Occupations are the ordinary, familiar and meaningful activities that people do every day.
The Children's Hospital offers exceptional occupational therapy services with highly specialized therapists on our staff. Our Certified Hand Therapists specialize in pediatric conditions. Many of our therapists are certified in sensory integration, neuro-developmental treatment (NDT), manual therapy, and feeding and swallowing dysfunction. Our therapists are involved in research and presentations, publishing and presenting at national conferences.
