Children's Doctor Finds Link Between Sinus Infections and Toxic Shock Syndrome

According to a new study led by Kenny Chan, MD, chief of pediatric otolaryngology at Children's, sinus infections in children can sometimes lead to toxic shock syndrome, a potentially fatal condition typically known for its association with use of tampons, and also known to be linked with numerous infections.
