Children's Among Best Companies to Work for in Colorado

The Children’s Hospital was selected as one of the Best Companies to Work for in Colorado by ColoradoBiz magazine, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Colorado State Council, and Jobing.com for 2009. The only hospital recognized as a finalist, this honor reflects the efforts made to create a positive, healthy, and rewarding work place for the remarkable staff here at Children’s. Children's was also the largest company among the finalists.

The Colorado Biz article lists the following Children's employee perks; concierge services at no extra cost for employees include car washes, oil changes, watch repairs, dry-cleaning pickup and drop-off, hotel, flights, rental car reservations and more.

Now in its fourth year, the Best Companies to Work for in Colorado program is a statewide initiative dedicated to finding and recognizing Colorado 's best employers. Children’s was named to the list in the "Large Companies" category, which is open to hundreds of Colorado businesses with 250 or more employees.

This was Children’s first year on the list. The formal ranking of winners was announced at the 2009 Celebration Awards Banquet on July 31 in Westminster.
