Family Dedicates Hospital Garden in Son's Name

Parents of former Children's patient, Cash Scanlon Phillips, who died of spinal muscular atrophy at four months, spent the last two years hosting benefit concerts and collecting donations to build a healing garden for families staying at Children's to enjoy. The Phillips family was able to dedicate a garden on the south lawn of the hospital on June 14 in memory of their son. The family also presented a check for $7,834 to the hospital's Bereavement Program.
