Making Your Child’s Medical Care Easier to Access
The Children’s Hospital is moving to a larger, state-of-the-art facility where all of your child’s medical needs can be met in one place.
Not only is it convenient for parents and caregivers to have all of their children’s physicians in one place, it’s also better for your child. If your son needs to see his orthopedic surgeon and then head to physical therapy, you can do both within the same facility — the Outpatient Pavilion at The new Children’s Hospital.
The Outpatient Pavilion houses multiple physician outpatient clinics — both specialty care and primary care — on four floors:
- 1st floor — primary care clinics
- 2nd floor — surgical specialty clinics
- 3rd floor — medical specialty clinics such as pulmonary, allergy, genetics and metabolic conditions
- 4th floor — orthopedics and rehabilitation, occupational and physical therapy
“We grouped specialties together in a way that makes sense for care and included large rooms where teams of physicians and healthcare providers can gather to discuss a child’s individual treatment plan,” said Suzy Jaeger, vice president of ambulatory services at Children’s. “With our new campus we found ways to be more efficient and considerate of patients’ and families’ time. Our hope is that everyone who walks through our doors feels the love and care we poured into the design of this facility.”
The Researchers Next Door
With our new location literally right next door to the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, your children have access to world-class research capabilities and education resources — and doctors from the University’s prestigious department of pediatrics will see patients within our new facility.
“Children’s wants to cure children, not just heal them,” Jaeger said. “This partnership with the University of Colorado allows us to continually work toward this goal.”
