Is It Asthma?
Answer the following questions to determine if your child may need to be tested for asthma.
- Does your child suffer from severe respiratory infections?
- Have you noticed significant limitation when your child runs, walks or climbs stairs?
- Does your child cough at night, even when he or she does not have a cold?
- Has your child ever needed inhaled medications such as albuterol?
If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, visit your family physician or pediatrician and ask for a referral to a pediatric asthma specialist at The Children’s Hospital.
