Is It Asthma?

Answer the following questions to determine if your child may need to be tested for asthma.

  1. Does your child suffer from severe respiratory infections?
  2. Have you noticed significant limitation when your child runs, walks or climbs stairs?
  3. Does your child cough at night, even when he or she does not have a cold?
  4. Has your child ever needed inhaled medications such as albuterol?

If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, visit your family physician or pediatrician and ask for a referral to a pediatric asthma specialist at The Children’s Hospital.
