Building Bridges with Community Providers

The Physician Relations department helps community healthcare providers interface with The Children's Hospital. Physician Relations representatives provide resources, help solve problems, and set up educational events.

Physician Relations activities include:

  • Visits to offices to educate providers on Children’s resources; including "Lunch and Learns" (.pdf).
  • Scheduling and promoting CME activities that feature Children’s experts.
  • Responding to provider concerns about services at Children’s.
  • Introduction of new physicians and programs to the provider community.
  • Development of useful, informative Children’s resources like Practice Update and the  Directory of Services (.pdf).
  • Maintenance and development of clinical content on the The Children's Hospital website.
